Teens and Adults

Brittany K Christmas

MS, NCC, LPC

Specializing in individualized counseling

to promote a

HEALTHY AND EMPOWERING LIFE.

In 2007, as a young airman in the U.S. Air Force, Brittany found her passion for helping others while working as a mental health technician in the on-base clinic. During her time in the military, she assisted hundreds of struggling airmen in receiving much needed mental health treatment. Following her service in the military, Brittany completed her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at New Mexico State University. After relocating to Kennesaw, GA in 2015, she began her internship, where she worked with children and teens struggling with a variety of mental health issues; including, anxiety, depression, stress, self-harm, relational problems, and low self-esteem.  Upon completion of her Master's Degree from Walden University in 2016, Brittany continued her journey in mental health where she became specialized in working with teens and young adults struggling.  Brittany uses a person-centered and CBT approach in therapy where she strives to create a safe and comfortable environment for her clients to freely express themselves.  She strongly believes in  meeting clients where they are at and helping them develop healthy coping skills in order to deal with whatever obstacle they are dealing with.  Her ultimate goal with her clients, is having them feel more confident and hopeful that through therapy, they can tackle any challenge that comes their way.
